We understand how frustrating it is to misplace your property so in the unfortunate event that you believe an item of property has been left in one of our private hire vehicles by mistake, please get in touch so that we can assist in locating and returning the said item as soon as possible.

We are here to help any property handed in by any of our drivers will be logged in our office.


RETURNING MISPLACE / LOST PROPERTY:
If our driver has your property in their possession and you would like this to be returned to you directly,
a fee will be charged based on the fare from the driver partners’ current location and the destination.


COLLECTING MISPLACED / LOST PROPERTY:
If we or our drivers let you know that your item has been handed into our office, you will need to
give us an accurate description of the item and the journey you made before making arrangements to
collect it. You must sign for the items once claimed.


HOW LONG WE HOLD YOUR MISPLACED / LOST ITEMS FOR:
We have limited storage and can only hold unclaimed items for a maximum of 6 weeks.


ITEMS WE ARE UNABLE TO STORE:
For safety and security reasons we follow these guidelines on the storage and handling of certain items;
> Perishable food and drink will be disposed of
> Tinned or dried foods may be taken to a local Food Bank
> Unopened alcohol may be donated to charitable local events as raffle prizes
> Prescribed drugs will be disposed of immediately
> Un-prescribed drugs or associated paraphernalia will be reported to the Police
> All credit/debt cards will be shredded and disposed of after said time
> Passports will be returned to the issuing office
> Driving licenses will be returned to the DVLA


HOW WE DISPOSE OF MISPLACED / LOST PROPERTY:
After 6 weeks we will dispose of unclaimed property as follows
> Money will be donated to a local charity of our choice
> Recyclable items will be donated to a local charity of our choice
> Pc’s, Tablet’s, Mobile Phone’s, etc. will be handed to police for security and data protection

All items of less valve or appear damaged or soiled, will be disposed of via general waste.
